Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This policy explains how Odisea.ai UG (haftungsbeschränkt) uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies on odisea.ai. They are used to remember an explicit choice, provide a feature, or maintain a signed-in session. Odisea does not currently use advertising or cross-site marketing cookies.
When consent is requested
Optional PostHog and Ahrefs analytics stay off until you accept them. The same choice covers PostHog's masked session replay, described below. A persistent Cookie settings button lets you reject or withdraw that choice later.
Mapbox-powered interactive maps have a separate privacy control because loading a map can activate Mapbox browser storage and telemetry. Marketing page map embeds remain unloaded until you choose Allow Mapbox and load map.
The Mapbox decision is stored so Odisea can honor it on later visits. You can withdraw permission using the Map privacy control shown on a loaded map. Rejecting Mapbox does not prevent access to the rest of the website.
Cookie and storage inventory
Names containing an ellipsis are prefixes or patterns whose final portion depends on the Odisea project, account, map, tour, or memory session.

Optional analytics and session replay
After you accept, PostHog Cloud EU measures public-site visits and interactions using a pseudonymous identifier in local storage. It may create a masked session replay for a 20% sample of eligible sessions. Authentication and dashboard routes are excluded. Input, textarea, and editable-field text is masked; iframes, video, audio, and canvas content is blocked; request headers and bodies are not recorded.
With the same consent, Ahrefs Web Analytics processes page URLs, referrers, browser information, interactions, and IP-derived approximate location to produce aggregated statistics. Odisea's own public map-view counter remains separate: it keeps its deduplication value in memory only and writes nothing to browser storage.
Rejecting analytics does not limit website access. Withdrawing consent stops new PostHog collection, clears its local analytics state, and reloads the page so the Ahrefs script is removed from the document.
Managing browser storage
You can delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, remove unfinished drafts, forget your selected language and privacy choices, and reset dashboard preferences. You can also use the persistent Cookie settings button to change optional analytics consent without clearing other site data.
